Kurt Clifton started diving in 1972 to help his brother Randy. He was part of many local law enforcement agencies, eventually being in charge of the Dive Rescue Unit for Kane Co. Sheriff's Dept. Kurt and Karen opened Clifton's Diving Ventures in 1983 and has been running classes and diving ever since. In 2010, Kurt helped form the Disabled Divers International with Fraser Bathgate.
